Empowering Youth Through the Arts
LAMAP provides a quality music education to UCLA Horace Mann School in South Central Los Angeles.
Our goal is to prevent students from picking up a gun, by picking up an instrument. Further, to provide a scholarship to University for all students who show a commitment to their academics and music education.
Our most immediate need is for instruments for the band!
We have students who have sat in band class all fall 2021 semester
with no instrument to play. We are starting Winter 2022 in the same situation.
