Fund our work in 2023!

Sunrise Philly is going to win a Green New Deal for our city. In 2018 we launched our movement and the GND. In 2019, we held multiple climate strikes and pressured politicians to get fossil fuel money out of politics. In 2020, we helped elect progressive state representatives Nikil Saval and Rick Krajewski. In the spring of 2022, when Nikil Saval introduced  sweeping housing legislation that would give every PA homeowner up to  $50,000 to fix broken faucets, leaky roofs, ineffective heaters, we pushed it over the finish line. In the fall of 2022 we fought with Philly Thrive to remove cancer emitting oil tanks blocks away from black communities.

Now, we are embarking on our most ambitious campaign yet. This Summer, we will hold massively disruptive nonviolent actions to win investments in poor black and brown communities under the name of the Green New Deal. Open rec centers and libraries. Community control over land. Good jobs that give kids purpose so they don't need to go to drugs and guns. We are going to organize hundreds of people and we will be unstoppable.

But to do this, we'll need money. For art, clipboards, tables, shirts, projectors, and (most importantly) stipends to support working class people to fight for their future while having their basic needs met. Anything you can give will help! Whether it's $1,000 or $0.01.
